KIND Nuts & Spices – NEW Flavors! Review

When I read KIND Nuts & Spices (I’ve always been a fan!) created new flavors well OF COURSE I signed up to give them a try! I love that everything in these bars is 100% natural and that means I was happy to share with my husband and bonus daughters! I chopped these into pieces and we did a family taste test of the Caramel Almond & Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate Mocha Almond bars. Here’s our verdict:

• Eight-year old bonus daughter who says she doesn’t like nuts (it’s a phase lol) did take a little convincing, but once she tried them she really liked the caramel almond and sea salt. She didn’t care for the dark chocolate because she felt it was a little bitter. I think that has more to do with age. 😉
• My fourteen-year old bonus daughter liked the dark chocolate bar best – go figure! She likes the mocha flavor! Still, she also gave a thumbs up to the caramel and liked it, too.
• My husband also liked the dark chocolate best. He said it was nice and mild and he liked that it wasn’t “too” strong of a dark chocolate taste.
• As for me, I was with eight-year old bonus daughter on this one. Since I’m not a coffee fan, I did feel the mocha gave it a little of a coffee taste. I think mocha fans would really love it, though. I LOVE the salty and sweet combination and could have finished the caramel almond & sea salt bars by myself! AND they went great with my afternoon hot tea!

You can find these in our cabinets now! I am happy to send the hubs to base with these and to throw them in my purse or backpack, especially on days when I’m flying. Much healthier than airport food – not to mention more cost effective, too! For parents who want easy alternatives to so-called healthy granola-bars, have your kids give these a try!
