I recently made the move from San Diego, California to my husband’s home of rural Northwest Arkansas to be with my four bonus kids! Now that he has finished his military career, we have gotten a large house with land and I welcome my readers and followers inside as we make the house into our home. Honored with Business Traveler Magazine’s title of Business Traveler of the year, I’m a proud wife, bonus mom, cancer survivor, biker chick, event professional, tea aficionado, road warrior and wanna-be home decor DIYer living the gift is in the giving. And I’m still learning where all the light-switches are.

I can’t not believe you have never had coffee before!! Oh my gosh!! However, I have never had loose leaf tea.

Oh no, no. I have had coffee. Sips of it here and there, but never anything that could amount to an entire cup. I really don’t like it at all. Now you gotta definitely go to a tea house and have loose leaf tea. It is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! 🙂

Any comments on living in the Hot Springs area? We’re semi-retired, tired of Florida crowds/tourists, wanting to be closer to ASU/Jonesboro daughters. Thoughts? Love your work 🙂

Hi Lisa, I am so sorry I missed this! Thank you so much for your kind words. I hear it is lovely there-but can you believe, I’ve never been? I’ve heard it is touristy, but as a Florida native -LOL- definitely nothing compared to the crowds there. Arkansas is beautiful. The people are so nice and it is a great cost of living. I think if you are okay with four seasons, you’d love it!

Do not live in Jonesboro, look at Hardy, Ash flat, Cherokee village, and around that area. They all are an easy commute to Jonesboro.
