Spring is Here Pot of Gold Scavenger Hunt

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #GoldFishGameTime #CollectiveBias . Spring has sprung a bit early here in Northwest Arkansas and to celebrate we’re getting outside a lot more. The hubs and I decided it would be fun to have a “Pot of Gold” Scavenger Hunt for the family to enjoy this warmer weather and it’s an excuse to enjoy mother nature 😉 . So, we headed to Walmart -they have everything in one place- to grab some provisions… scavenger hunt printable

The Snack That Smiles Back®

As we were picking out items, I noticed these bulk cartons of Goldfish® Crackers (so adorbs). What a cute way to add to our “Pot of Gold” scavenger hunt, right? I love that these have no cholesterol and the Goldfish® Crackers Colors variety looked so fun! Those colors come from plant sources like watermelon. Perfect snack solution right there and you all know I’m super picky with what we give the kids. The Snack That Smiles Back®. Indeed.

The Little Things are the Big Things

I believe sometimes the biggest of things happen in the smallest of ways or places. A lot of the memories K talks about involve life’s simple pleasures; nature walks, bicycle rides and even easy snacks cut into shapes and arranged on a plate. It may have only taken less than a minute to do, but she remembers these things and as a stepmom, that’s a big deal. I don’t take those moments for granted. The people at Goldfish® Crackers want to bring joy, a smile at a time, and they’re helping the hubs and I do just that. Armed with our cartons and a few goodies, we got to work.

We’re lucky to live in the Natural State, which means we have a lot of nature right out our back door. It’s like our own little pot of gold. I put together this scavenger hunt printable and it was time to head outside.

We had so much fun and all agree mother nature is a big pot of gold for us to discover. Of course, having our Goldfish® Crackers to munch on while we did it – total bonus.

What a wonderful idea! I’m going to have to try something similar with my grandchildren .. they love goldfishes and looking for all sorts of hidden treasures. I remember my mom doing something similar for us and we had a blast!

Your scavenger hunt looks like such a fun activity. I use to enjoy scavenger hunts in the past, but haven’t done one for years. This looks like such a great springtime family activity. I love the hunt checklist — it is so cute. This is making me crave Goldfish.
