Skoother Skin Smoother Review

It’s almost summer and I love sporting my oh-so-cute strappy heels this time of year! Being on the road so much I can’t keep up with pedis as often as I’d like so to keep my feet looking and feeling good, I need to maintain them between visits to the nail salon and foot scrubs along with using my new SKOOTHER ® are my favorite ways to do it! I’m limited on time so I love scrubs that are natural, smell good, look pretty and actually work – but they can’t be complicated or take too much time to make. Well I have just the scrub to share with you! Check it out and keep reading for your chance to win a SKOOTHER ® of your own along with other great prizes!

Citrus Poppy Seed Scrub
My Citrus Poppy Seed Scrub

4.25 oz. coarse cane sugar (granulated works fine, too)
1 oz. organic olive oil
.5 ml orange essential oil
.5 ml peppermint essential oil (optional)
1 teaspoon poppy seeds (you can find these at Whole Foods)

This takes less than a minute: Just mix it all together in a bowl and put in a cute mason jar! First, you want to use your SKOOTHER ®. Then soak your feet in warm water and use the Citrus Scrub. The SKOOTHER ® will help your feet retain the moisture from the scrub! So what is this SKOOTHER ® you ask? Well let me tell you!

Review time!

I have been skeptical of products that claim to smooth the skin using dermabrasion because though they claim to be gentle, they are anything but. But the SKOOTHER ® delivers on its promise! I need something I can take on the road with me – and let me be honest, between workouts, wearing my heels and standing for hours on end at events my feet need the extra attention. SKOOTHER ® is perfect for my travels! And I don’t have to worry about the TSA asking me questions because it does not require batteries or electricity (it’s green and saves money, too)! Some skin smoothers are complicated, big and bulky or too small to really work. Not the SKOOTHER ®! I gently smooth the SKOOTHER ® over my feet and it does the work for me. There is no need to rub hard. Of course it also works on knees, elbows and even my hands. Oh, on the topic of hands it fits into my hand perfectly!

The mesh piece on top is waterproof so you can use it in the tub and it’s very easy to clean. I really like that since it won’t compromise the quality of the screen over time when I rinse it and I can easily take the top and bottom apart to empty the dry skin. Just a note: It is a little hard to take apart. You don’t unscrew it. Instead you pop the top off. I think this is a good thing so the dead skin doesn’t fall out all over the place. Just make sure you do this over a garbage can because the dead skin has the consistency of powder and you’ll need a vacuum to get it all up if you spill it.

So I wanted to put SKOOTHER ® to the ultimate test: My husband’s feet! He stands in military boots for several hours a day and his feet get realllly beaten up. Check out THESE results with his SKOOTHER ®! (Thanks to the hubs for letting me use his feet for this review).

Yep, that’s the same foot!

Inside and outside, his feet look a MILLION times better, right? So let’s all say it together:

Oh, sweet summertime! I’m teaming up with The Invention Brothers to give you a chance to win a fabulous new beauty exfoliator called The SKOOTHER® Skin Smoother, as well as an iPad Mini!

Have you heard of the SKOOTHER? It’s the most effective way to quickly and easily smooth rough skin and calluses on your feet, heels, elbows and hands, and it’s unique design makes it much more effective than pumice stones, emery pads, metal graters (ouch!), motorized sanders, and other skin-smoothing gimmicks.

  • – It’s easy to hold
  • – It conforms to your body, making it quick and easy to use
  • – It doesn’t require batteries
  • – The Micro-Abrasive Screen is rough enough to remove stubborn calluses on your heels, but gentle enough to also lightly smooth the skin on more delicate areas like your hands and knees
  • – It has been medically-tested by a team of doctors at the University of Michigan Health System, Ann Arbor
  • – It’s easy to clean
