Veterans – Win a 7-Eleven! Operation: Take Command is Underway!
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of 7-Eleven Franchising for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
It’s no surprise 7-Eleven has been voted best Veterans Franchise. Their President & CEO Joe DePinto is a Veteran! And now they have recognized that others who have served our military come into the workforce with the skills needed to run a successful business. Supply, administration, evaluations, and leadership expertise are just some of what it takes to make an operation thrive, and our U.S. veterans bring that to the entrepreneur space in spades!
In the past four years, almost 204,000 new vet and military spouses have started franchising careers and over 5,600 veterans have become franchise owners! In the past year alone over 50,000 vets have found jobs in the franchise industry and now, ranked #2 on Franchise Times list of 200 franchises and #1 Global Franchise by Entrepreneur Magazine, 7-Eleven is giving away a store to one deserving veteran through their OPERATION: TAKE COMMAND contest.
The franchise will be turnkey meaning 7-Eleven will provide the store, land and equipment. The extensive training support from franchise pros and gross profit split means they are invested in the success of your store. YOUR store. Has a nice ring to it, no? Start-up is fast and they will be with the winner every step of the way!
So how do I enter?
- Once you make sure you are qualified go to the website by OPERATION: TAKE COMMAND and fill out the application form by the January 25, 2015 deadline
- The finalists will be announced sometime in March 2015 and will create a video explaining why they should win
- Videos will be posted to the 7-Eleven Franchising Facebook page and America will vote! Then the top three winners will be flown to Dallas for final interviews
- A winner will be announced April 13, 2015!
I am excited to see who will win and wish everyone who enters the best of luck in applying! And wherever it is, you can bet I’ll stop in should my business travels take me to that neck of the woods!
