Rusk Hairspray Review

I received one Rusk Freezing Spray product to conduct this review. All opinions are my own and have not been influenced in any way.
After trying the Rusk 12-in-1 Miracle Leave in Treatment, I was wondering if the Rusk Freezing Hairspray would cut the mustard. I really have not had good luck with hairspray in the past, but I chalked it up to products just not being able to keep up with my crazy travel lifestyle. Given I fly so much, in a day my hair can be exposed to cool breezy weather, plane air and humidity – as was the case last week when I went from Seattle to Dallas. I usually don’t even bother with hairspray because I know it won’t work. I figured, “What the heck,” and experimented…
I actually did a blow-out before flying (at seven in the morning!) and I was incredibly impressed that the Rusk Freezing Hairspray rose to the challenge. After eight hours of travel time (including two cab rides), my hair looked pretty darn good if I do say so myself. I got to my hotel, looked in the mirror and was happy I didn’t need a touch up! SCORE!
The icing on the cake? For as well as it holds my hair, it goes on light and doesn’t flake (no dandruff look from the hairspray). If you brush through your hair after spraying, just be gentle. It says “freezing spray” on the bottle and it does what it says. Definitely a win and now in my travel bag!
