Slip Detangler and Tweek Cream Hairspray – Review

I was recently introduced to Slip Detangler by Curly Hair Solutions. Since my hair has been known to tangle, I was anxious to give it a try. While my hair is not curly, it is wavy and can be a bit unruly. I also wanted to find a leave-in conditioner that wouldn’t be greasy or weigh my hair down.

Slip is silicone-free and the ingredients such as water and aloe, chamomile and sunflower extracts are all natural. Of course, I love that it is not tested on animals (I will never review a product that is).

After shaking the bottle, the product is applied to wet hair followed by a thirty-second waiting period to let the detangler do its job. For me, I waited over thirty seconds and did have to apply more. While it is not heavy on the hair, which I like, I did not find it very conditioning. The bottle also claims it will tame fly-aways and make your hair shine, but I didn’t see a difference as far as this goes when it came to my own hair. Since the ingredients are high-quality, expect it to be a little pricey for eight ounces. As a a detangler, it does work when extra product is applied.

Included with the Slip was a sample of their Tweek product. This is a hairspray in a cream form which I found very interesting! It has a really nice smell and should be applied to completely dry hair. As the label promised, it did not build up on my hair and did give it some extra body. I’m sure for women with curly hair that is also frizzy, this hairspray would help conquer the frizz!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
