Green Virgin Soap Nuts Laundry Detergent Review

In my search for a more natural laundry detergent, I ran across Soap Nuts Liquid Laundry Detergent by Green Virgin Products. I’d been using pods and every time I would smell the laundry, I’d also wonder if it was really clean or just covered up by perfumes full of chemicals.

The bottle comes like this and it’s easy to assemble, though when I inserted the pump it did leak a bit:

After I got that cleaned up it was time to do laundry! Trying a new product actually made doing laundry a bit fun. Here are a few observations:

  • Don’t be surprised by the brown color – that’s what soap nuts look like.
  • Don’t expect floral or “perfumey” scents. This smells, well, like nuts. Your laundry won’t smell that way, though. In fact, it won’t smell like anything at all. There is no scent after it comes out of the washer which indicates to me that it is just CLEAN. I love that.
  • If you are worried about nut allergies, Soap Nuts aren’t really nuts at all! They’re actually berries, so you and your loved ones are safe.
  • The laundry didn’t need fabric softener. After I took it out of the dryer, there was no static cling and it was fluffy and soft.

This 8 ounce bottle will do 120 loads and it doesn’t matter what type of washing machine you have. The price is more reasonable than mainstream detergents and the fact that it is environmentally friendly is an added bonus!

Definitely a winner. You can get yours by visiting Amazon.com and ordering by clicking here.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
